 Global Corporate (GC) offers risk management services to large corporations and multinational companies.
The Global Corporate IT department is responsible to design, build, implement, maintain and operate the IT systems that support the Global Corporate business segment. The systems are used during the processes of underwriting, claims handling, reinsurance and financial accounting, are used globally and require high availability and reliability.
As application Subject Matter Expert you will be responsible for our key risk engineering application. Since the complete development is outsourced to external partners, your key tasks include validation and review of the technical application design and validation of effort estimation provided by our external partners. Furthermore you will provide high level effort estimation of changes requests and analyse impact of those change requests on the system to ensure integrity of overall system architecture. In addition you will ensure quality of projects deliverables, develop proposals to constantly improve the application, support our external partners in their development activities and act as single point of contact between business and external partners.
In case of operational incidents you need to coordinate activities to identify the root cause and ensure the operational services are restored.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced developer with 4 -6 years of experience in developing IT systems and solid experience in building web based applications using
Microsoft .NET and MOSS. Furthermore ability to coordinate operational tasks with various teams and external partners, ability to work in international teams is required and you are fluent in written and spoken English.
Experience in working with large global corporations and experience in Microsoft Dynamics is a plus. |
